Modern River   house

Being a commercial architect his entire life, the owner wanted to design a second home for him and his family.  With a strong lean toward modern architecture, he landed on a simple, clean design that takes full advantage of the waterfront lot on the Manatee River.

Quickly deemed the Modern River House, this house takes full advantage of the long narrow lot by separating the living and sleeping quarters by an inviting hallway that directs your eyes straight to the waters of the Manatee River the minute you approach the front door.

White oak, coral stone, and touches of black steel is the color palette inside and out at this home. This neutral and local palette leaves plenty of room for the landscaping, water, and Florida skies to cast nature's colors to this home’s visitors.
