Anna Maria Cottage

Seeking a classic and timeless beach house, the homeowner found just the right architect to design this nautical home on Anna Maria Island.  Known for classic architecture, this beach house has subtle details reminiscent of the classic beach houses of the 1920s.  Guests are greeted by a lovely arched entry that is flanked with gas lanterns.  The façade of the home is clad with staggered shakes, brick stairs, and “Santorini blue” shutters.  Other details throughout the home include two sleeping porches, a cozy breakfast nook, and a bunk room built purely so the family can welcome extended family members from all over the state.  Every little detail of this cottage feels like a home from days gone by.
