Harbor House with two-story porches and palms, from the paver drive

Completed in 2021 on a canal in Longboat Key’s Emerald Harbor, Harbor House is a vacation home designed around coastal comfort. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open the main living space to the water, and the kitchen, the heart of the home and the family’s main gathering spot, connects to the living room in one open plan.

Tongue-and-groove ceilings, oak flooring, subtle brass accents, and a neutral palette carry a relaxed coastal feel through every room. Wraparound balconies, a covered outdoor living area with a full outdoor kitchen, and a pool set in a grid of turf and pavers make the most of the spacious canal-front lot.

It is the kind of place a family escapes to: easy to open up, easy to fill with friends, and never far from the boat.

Recognition: Aurora Awards 2023, Silver (Kitchen Design). Best in American Living Awards 2022, Silver (Kitchen).
