A highly personalized modern riverfront estate in Bradenton, designed and hand-drawn by its owner, resulting in a bespoke waterfront home centered around intentional living, natural light, and long-range coastal views.

Set on the Manatee River in Northwest Bradenton, the home was designed by its owner, an architect from Columbus, Ohio, and built by Ross Built to carry that vision through to the smallest detail. White board-and-batten siding, black-framed windows, and a standing-seam metal roof frame a courtyard entry, and inside, exposed timber trusses rise over an open plan that connects the kitchen, living, and outdoor spaces so the river is in view from nearly every room.

Built for an avid swimmer, the outdoor living area includes both a swimming pool and a separate lap pool, with long views up and down the river. The main living level is elevated well above the floodplain, and modern amenities and thoughtfully planned spaces make the home as functional as it is striking.
