PALM ISLAND
Gulf-to-bay islands off Cape Haze in Charlotte County, with no bridge to the mainland.
Building on Palm Island
Palm Island is the string of barrier islands off Cape Haze, between the Gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway. There is no bridge. Residents, crews and trucks cross on a car ferry, and the islands have stayed quiet because of it.
Projects here get a full-time team on site and run the same way as the ones close to home.
By Ferry
Every delivery and every crew rides the ferry. The schedule, the weather and the size of each load all go into the plan.
Gulf-Front Permitting
Beachfront homes need a state coastal permit. We handle it in-house and start early.
Coming by Water
Some materials come by barge instead. We already build this way on Jewfish Key, where nothing arrives by road.
A Full-Time Team
A dedicated project manager on site and the same detailed pre-construction as every Ross Built home.
