Boca Grande
GASPARILLA ISLAND
The village of Boca Grande and the Gulf-front lots around it, at the end of the Boca Grande Causeway.
Building on Gasparilla Island
Gasparilla Island is a narrow barrier island between the Gulf and Charlotte Harbor, about seven miles long. The village of Boca Grande sits at the south end, with old Florida homes, a historic inn and streets that run on golf carts. It has stayed small on purpose, and the people who build here want it that way.
Projects here get a full-time team on site and run the same way as the ones close to home.
Two Counties
Most of the island is in Lee County and the north end is in Charlotte County. Which one your lot is in decides who reviews the plans.
Island Rules
The island has its own development rules on top of the county’s. We go through them before design goes far.
Gulf-Front Permitting
Beachfront homes need a state coastal permit. We handle it in-house and start early.
The Causeway
Every truck and every crew crosses the Boca Grande Causeway. Deliveries are planned around the trip.
