Where We Build
ST. PETERSBURG
Waterfront neighborhoods on Tampa Bay, Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf, less than an hour from our office over the Skyway.
Building in St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg is less than an hour from our office over the Skyway. Its waterfront neighborhoods on Tampa Bay and Boca Ciega Bay have the same conditions we build in every day: flood zones, seawalls and wind exposure.
We have a home under construction on Snell Isle. A St. Petersburg project gets a full-time project manager on site and runs through the same pre-construction process as a home on Anna Maria Island.
A Full-Time Team
Every St. Petersburg project gets a dedicated project manager on site, not someone splitting time between jobs.
Same Process
Detailed scopes, real subcontractor bids and a full pre-construction phase, the same as every Ross Built home.
Local Permitting
We work with the local building department directly and handle the permit in-house.
Flood Zones and Seawalls
Most waterfront lots here sit in a flood zone behind a seawall. We look at both before design goes far.
Areas
Where in St. Petersburg
From the downtown waterfront to the Gulf beaches. Each one is a different kind of lot.
Snell Isle
Bayfront and canal-front lots northeast of downtown. We have a home under construction here.
Old Northeast
Brick streets and early 1900s homes along the downtown waterfront. A new home here has to fit the street it is on.
St. Pete Beach
Gulf-front and bay lots from Pass-a-Grille north. Beachfront homes need a state coastal permit, which we handle in-house.
Tierra Verde
Deep-water canal and bay lots on the islands just north of the Skyway, with open access to the Gulf.
Keep Exploring
More of Where We Build
Most of our work is on Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key and in Sarasota and Bradenton.
Tampa
South Tampa’s waterfront neighborhoods, across the bay.
Anna Maria Island
Three cities on seven miles of island. Half of the homes in our portfolio are here.
Longboat Key
Gulf beach, canals and bay under one town building department.
Sarasota
Keys and bayfront neighborhoods to the south.
