Where We Build / Anna Maria Island

Building in Bradenton Beach

Bradenton Beach is the narrowest part of Anna Maria Island. Bridge Street and the city pier are at its center, Coquina Beach runs along the south end, and most lots are a short walk from both the Gulf and the bay.

We build across the whole island, and the fundamentals here are the same as in Holmes Beach and Anna Maria: elevated construction, a city building department with its own rules and, on the Gulf, a state coastal permit.

Compact Lots

Lots here are some of the smallest on the island. Getting the most out of one takes careful planning on height, setbacks and parking.

One Road

Gulf Drive runs the length of the city. We plan deliveries and crane days around traffic and season.

Flood and Wind

With water close on both sides, homes are elevated and built to coastal wind standards from the foundation up.

City Permitting

Bradenton Beach reviews and inspects its own projects. We handle the permitting in-house from application to certificate of occupancy.
